Why you need Call Center Registration?
In Pakistan there is exemption in Income Tax Laws for Call Center business. Why? Because this business attracts Foreign Remittances by providing services globally. Call Center business need to register in Pakistan weather services provided locally or internationally.
In prevailing Tax laws all Call Centers required to register, without registration of Call Center business it is unlawful and later or sooner all will be closed down in future.
Call center service is a sensitive business in respect of Data. All Data are very sensitive and vital, particularly Data are keenly monitored by relevant agencies to know any breach of prevailing law.
Registering a Call Center business is mandatory. Those companies which are working as BPO, it is necessary to have registration number of business as per the local laws. If any company which is engage in Call Center business and want to provide inbound services then the vendors also ask for registration number of registration documents.
Registration process of Call Centre business in Pakistan:
PSEB is a regulatory body and need to register all Call Center business accordingly. PSEB is Pakistan Software Exchange Board. The following are the documents required to register:
Private Limited Company / Single Member Pvt Ltd / Firm Registration (Form C)
NTN of company / NTN of Firm
Bank Account Details
List of Directors / Partners – basic profile and contact details
Total Employees and basic profiles
Brief company profile
PSEB takes due time for verification. After verification, they issue a certificate and an Identification Number. Renewal of certificate will be done after expiry of every 4 years.
As registration process completed then a local number need to get from PTCL.
Important : PSEB give permission to get the UAN, local or international routing number. Call centers need routing numbers. Without registration with PSEB you will not be able to get the number. Additionally, if you have a business as international call center, your number required to go through a Voice Over IP network. Registration is must for companies running international out-bound campaigns from Pakistan.
After registration with PSEB a number to PTCL or any network you work with, your number and connectivity will be ensured as white-listed. White-listed means to safeguard the interest of business and your number will not be blocked. Moreover, as regulatory authority of Government of Pakistan monitors all traffic and communication. Being the registered business and white-listed entity your call center will perform smoothly. No need to concern on the number of calls. Either in-bound or out-bound.
